Thanks for the inspiration! We love rock painting! The picture holder idea is great. This past Spring we found a lady at a craft show who makes the cutest insects from wire and rocks. It's too hard for little hands, so we bought some. (2 spiders, a dragonfly, and a butterfly)
ReplyDeleteI think we'll be able to make the picture holders. Yay!
It's important to give children access to good quality materials, especially paint and papers, and to allow them some control and decision making over what to use, how and when.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of ideas & inspiration. Who can resist a pet rock?
ReplyDeleteWe have a handy, near-by beach with THE most amazing, flat rocks instead of sand. As an adult I love to go and make rock sculptures, stacking a playing.
