After we shared some ideas by busy bloggers about summer fun and playing with water, this week we asked our friends and followers on Facebook to share some of their ideas about playing with sand and dirt! Sticking with play ideas for summer! After all, it is summer! :)

Maggy from Red Ted Art created beautiful dimensional beach scene cards with her kids. Never lacking inspiration for kids crafts around there! :)
Paint Cut Paste has this great post about sand trays and it's therapeutic uses for kids along with a little display of story set-ups in the sand.
Amy from the Child Central Station (unofficial queen of dirt!) has a number of posts with sand and dirt activities and fun ideas her little group in childcare enjoyed over time. Check these ideas here:
